The Newbuilding of German research vessel ATAIR, which is being built at the Fassmer shipyard in Berne, relies on highly efficient PM drive from RAMME for difficult maneuvering. The extremely high specific power of the bow and stern thruster motor was decisive for the contract. The compact design fits perfectly into the ship structure. The housing made of special aluminum still offers considerable weight advantages. This is RAMME´s fee to the environmental compatibility of new ships.
