New hybrid concept for fishing vessel

Clean, sustainable and efficient – that is the focus of this retrofit project of a fishing vessel. The conversion is to take place at a Polish shipyard. For this purpose, the entire rear end of the ship is removed, extended by 10 m and equipped with completely new drive technology.

Including a 1200kW PTI for pure-electric engine operation and a 1500kW PTI / PTO, which works both as a generator and as a motor. Thus, 2.7MW are available for the pure electric drive. In battery operation can thus be driven emission-free. With the PTI / PTO, load peaks can be stored in the battery.

A combination gearbox with two additional diesel engines increases the maximum total output to nearly 6.7MW.

The delivery is supplemented by a 184kW bow thruster engine.
